Core System - Wireline / Conventional
Wireline coring is the solution when you require continuous core to be cut and retrieved over large intervals without tripping the drill string. Typically this method of coring is conducted to analyze long sections of gas bearing formations, oil sands and coal bed methane formations. It is also effective for quickly bringing core to surface to preserve it in a near natural state.
With Wireline coring, an interval of core can be removed from the bottom of the hole without tripping the drill string, in sizes from 1½ - 6. When you are ready to remove the core, an Overshot is lowered on the end of a Wireline thru the center of the drill string. The Overshot attaches to the back of the Inner Tube,the Inner Tube disengages itself from the Core Barrel, and Wireline is used to pull the core back to surface for retrieval. Then a second Inner Tube is dropped and pumped down the drill pipe, locking into the Core Barrel, allowing for continuous coring runs.

X-tremes Rapid Deployment Core System (XRDCS) is used to eliminate time consuming trips to change from drilling to coring. This time saving factor is compounded when you have multiple core intervals in one well.
The XRDCS is a Wireline retrievable center bit which is pumped down the drill string turning your X-treme Core System into a full face PDC, eliminating the need for bit trips in specific applications.
X-treme designs a proprietary line of innovative core bits, ensuring minimal core damage due to fluid filtration, under gauged core or bit vibration.

These simulations have allowed us to drastically reduce pressure loss throughout the hydraulic system, thus reducing heat and improving continuous power at extreme temperatures. Our compact design is shipped in only two loads, including our newly designed Fast track torque tube. Once on location you can easily unload the complete top drive and torque tube with the use of a loader.
The newly designed Fast Track Torque tube is the most advanced tube on the market. Other systems take twelve to twenty four hours to rig up, the new fast track system will rig up in just a few hours.
Our highly engineered design allows for quick and easy field repairs, as well as effortless hydraulic disassembly and replacement, equating to a reduction of costly downtime.
Our ready to run system includes a pipe extender / mouse hole extender which boast a 360 deg carousel rotation and grabber sizes up to 11 with customizable configurations. The Hydraulic Kelly cock is standard equipment, alleviating costly extras.
All components can be shipped for offshore loads.
The advanced control system and state of the art electronics ensure long life and make robotic functions such as delivery of connections and tripping quick and easy.
